Our instructors will always encourage and support students to participate in the activities to maximise their camp experience. We do apply a “challenge by choice” policy, so students can achieve their individual goals.
At AGH Camps we are aware of potential reactions some students face if exposed to certain foods. Our kitchen caters for all dietary requirements needed by all students (i.e. vegetarian, halal, coeliac, lactose intolerance, vegan, severe nut allergies and many more).
We understand that there are many different levels of reactions and some can be extremely serious. The way we deal with that is that every dietary requirement is treated seriously and no chances are taken with cross contamination.
Our instructors are fully qualified and trained to safely facilitate all activities.
The teachers have sole responsibility for administering any medication of students.
Whilst the teachers have the ultimate duty of care of your loved ones, our staff also go through regular training relating to the activities and child protection.
